Senior Marketing Manager - Brand and Equity

5 Month Contract

Our retail client is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join them on a 5 month contract basis. You will secure the brand and commercial targets via creation of an omnichannel brand plan and its execution via campaign development/adaptation, media plans, social and digital plans.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the development of omnichannel annual brand plan to deliver growth targets, in partnership with the broader UK &I marketing teams
  • Lead the adaptation of global campaigns and the development of local UK initiatives (from concept, to connection strategy and assets delivery)
  • Secure the full integration of initiatives across platforms and channels, maximising synergies and impact
  • Lead media manager in the development of the omnichannel connection strategy and media plans
  • Lead the social strategy and always on calendar of contents
  • Lead the performance marketing agenda, establishing a culture of continuous optimisation via RoI maximization, campaign and assets real time optimization, test and learn plans.
  • Effectively manage UK development budget, media budget, social spend

Experience Required:

  • Consumer marketing experience in a dynamic organisation, in UK and possibly international markets. Experience in Brand and Equity roles requiring Campaigns and Comms development in UK/International markets is a must.
  • Strong experience across range of marketing disciplines, including brand positioning, Comms and assets development, promotions, POS development, development and management of campaigns on social media
  • Leadership of brand building strategy, annual brand planning, campaign phasing and development
  • Strong understanding of how to develop an integrated connection strategy across owned, earned and paid channels to deliver brand and ROI objectives
  • Strong experience in marketing and media performance management, lead marketing and media initiatives ROI evaluation to drive continuous improvement and optimization
  • Very pragmatic, commercial mindset. Understands commercial and profit challenges and turn them into opportunities.
  • Ability to lead, coach positively and influence peers, franchise partners and senior stakeholders
