We’re looking for a Senior Pricing Manager to join our growing team.
This role is responsible for supporting group wide pricing strategy across the UK business. The Senior Commercial Pricing Manager will work with Sales, Finance, Product and Marketing teams to implement short and long-term pricing strategies which will drive commercial performance and create sustainable value to the business.
Day to Day You’ll Be:
- Lead & develop B2B commercial propositions and supporting frameworks to support the Sales and Solutions teams.
- Lead the development of value-based pricing strategies, tactics and approaches that maximises the commercial returns by sector, customer and product.
- Enable the knowledge of pricing throughout the business through proposition development and training
- Work with Sales, Product and Marketing to develop a deep understanding of client needs and to support pricing proposals and proposition development
- Act as the subject matter expert for pricing enquiries from internal stakeholders
- Maintain a good working knowledge of competitive commercial dynamics & trends
- Oversee specific initiatives to further company efforts around Pricing
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Track record years of experience in a Commercial Pricing role within a value based B2B environment (preferably within Financial Services)
- An ability to engage key business partners, translating complex models into tangible business insights that can be used to optimise commercial decision making. This is underpinned by excellent communication skills, both verbally and through reports and PowerPoint
- Exceptional commercial modelling skills with evidence of application into high value competitive proposals
- Ability to work across a matrix structured organisation, supporting and challenging demanding stakeholders
- Strong commercial background, likely to be evidenced through a degree and possession of a further qualification such as PPS, MBA, ACA, CIMA or CFA
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Ideally has team management experience
