.SEO Manager, London, £40k, Office basedThe CompanyMy client is a popular renowned news website that's known for its sensational headlines and celebrity gossip. It also covers current events, sports, and lifecycle topics.The JobAs the SEO Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the SEO & content strategy to increase revenue, traffic and rankings
- Keyword research for new and exiting topics, which generate affiliate or lead gen revenue
- Actioning technical improvements and supporting on technical KPIs and reporting
- Working closely with the SEO Agency - checking project performance
- Providing recommendations on SEO best practices
- Working closely with wider teams ensuring synergy
- Drive traffic to the brand
You
- Must have newsroom experience
- Content and technical SEO experience, but more experience on the content side
- Ability to work on large websites and datasets
- Strong organisational skills
- You have used a range of SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Data Studio (Looker), Google Search Console and Google Trends
- Happy to work 5 days a week in the office, 9-5
