An exciting position has arisen within the Third-Party Management function for a Vendor Management Associate. Youll be responsible for ensuring the implementation of an effective Vendor Management Model and appropriate controls to enable the business to engage Third Parties and Outsourced service providers in line with Corporate Framework and UK regulatory expectations.
This is a varied role where youll be involved in execution and oversight of the Vendor Management activities to ensure timely delivery. This includes tender process and contract management to ensure compliance with corporate processes and UK regulatory requirements.

?The difference youll make:
- Influencing sourcing and selection of suppliers ensuring the risk elements are incorporated and value for money is achieved
- Managing the contracts renewal process for specific contracts as required by Policy by providing SME review (including the review of supplier KPIs), and challenge where appropriate
- Re-designing the framework and mechanisms in place to monitor, review and validate contract and supplier performance data and developing mitigation plans with agreed actions
- Reviewing supplier commercial proposals and options to ensure appropriate fit with both business requirements
- Supporting the strategic reviews of individual suppliers and categories, using high quality market intelligence
- Building and developing effective relationships with key business stakeholders to understand the business needs and propose appropriate solutions in relation to procurement of goods and services
Requirements
- Previous experience or working in a risk management position in a banking / financial institution
- Understanding of Procurement and Vendor Management regulations including Outsourcing and Third-Party Risk Management
- Personal resilience and ability to operate and lead team in a high intensity environment
- Relationship building and management with both internal and external customers and partners
Nice to have:
- Experience of working in a Vendor Management environment
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and proactively identify and deal with challenges
- Excellent communication skills and managing relationships and engaging both internal and external stakeholders at different levels of seniority
- Experience of presenting findings from analysis in a clear and articulate manner to senior stakeholders
