We are currently looking for an experienced Nursery Assistant to join a really lovely school in Brixton Hill to start in January.
The Role
As a general Teaching Assistant in the nursery you will be supporting the class teacher to provide a fun and stimulating learning environment for the children. You will work with an experienced team who are friendly and supportive and are committed to ensuring the safety of the children within the class. You will need to be hands on and prepared to support in all aspects of learning, playing and interacting with peers and the wider school community.
The school are interested in applications from both experienced teaching assistants and also those who have experience working with children in other settings. Prior experience and expertise within Early Years is essential. Applicants must have strong literacy and numeracy knowledge and a professional attitude and are expected to fully participate in the life of the school.
This role is offered as an ongoing contract starting on 6th January until July 2025.
