Nursery Assistant

This role is perfect for a passionate early years professional who enjoys working with children aged 0-5 years, supporting their development in a fun, engaging, and structured environment.

• Position: Nursery Assistant.
• Salary: £13.50-£15.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
• Location: Waltham Forest, East London.
• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Start Date: Immediate.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for creating a safe, fun, and stimulating learning environment, ensuring that every child has the best start in life.

• Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework.
• Create a positive and engaging atmosphere, encouraging children's curiosity and creativity.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support, helping children develop key social and cognitive skills.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and staff, providing updates on children's progress.

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach to working with children.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• A genuine passion for early childhood development.
