As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll be instrumental in building strong foundations for the children in your care. You will support the Room Manager in providing high-quality care and education for the children.

Responsibilities:
- As Nursery Practitioner, ensure the safety, well-being, and development of the children in your care
- Keep open and effective communication with parents or guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and daily activities
- Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans that promote children's cognitive, social, and physical development. This might involve organizing and leading activities, games, and educational experiences
- Regularly observe and assess each child's development, behaviour, and needs. Keep detailed records and share progress with parents and caregivers during parent-teacher meetings
- Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification
- Previous experience of working in a childcare setting or nursery
- Effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and staff, as well as the ability to convey information clearly and empathetically
- Proficiency in nursery administration, including record-keeping, budget management, and policy development
- The capability to work effectively with a diverse team of educators and support staff, fostering a collaborative atmosphere
