A primary school in Waltham Cross is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a part-time basis, working from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The Nursery Practitioner will provide essential support to three children with SEN needs, particularly those with Autism (ASC). This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioner to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, offering an immediate start for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities for the Nursery Practitioner:
* The Nursery Practitioner will provide one-on-one and group support to three children with SEN (ASC) needs, helping them navigate daily routines.
* Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons and activities to meet the specific learning needs of the children, ensuring that the classroom is inclusive.
* As a Nursery Practitioner, you will foster a positive, engaging environment where each child feels supported and included in their learning journey.
* Collaborate with the school's SEN team to ensure that the educational and emotional needs of the children are met effectively.
Requirements for the Nursery Practitioner:
* Experience working as a Nursery Practitioner or Nursery Teaching Assistant (Nursery TA), particularly with children who have SEN or Autism (ASC).
* A caring, patient, and proactive attitude, vital for a Nursery Practitioner supporting children with special needs.
* A valid enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one through Reeson Education.
