We have a great opportunity for a Nursery Practitioner to join a beautifully renovated setting in the heart of Islington. It is a short walk to overland and tube stations and the site is well served by local bus routes.

This nursery enjoys floods of natural light and has an open plan design which creates a vibrant and bright space for the children. There is also a large courtyard garden space to the rear of the nursery, which has been specifically designed for the children with soft surfaces and a customised buggy store for parents.

The nursery itself has been purposefully designed to provide a light and airy space for the children to learn and grow in a safe a secure environment. Each room is divided into classroom areas, rich with resources and great facilities.

As a Nursery Practitioner you will play a key part in shaping the learning experiences of young minds, working closely with your Room Leader to create a stimulating and supportive environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to the growth and development of both the children and the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Room Leader to plan and implement engaging activities in line with the EYFS
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Support the Room Leader in day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all
  • Act as a role model, inspiring and guiding fellow team members to deliver high-quality care
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for providing excellent care and education to young children
  • Previous experience gained in a nursery setting
