About the School - Nursery Manager - New Cross, Lewisham

• This is a new term time only Nursery school opening in September 2025.
• Following a school closure in March 2024, the school will re-open its doors in September, initially with a Nursery co-ort
• There are expected to be 30 - 40 children on roll from September, and already a number of staff employed
• The school requires an experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the running of the nursery
• This school follows Christian ethos, and staff are expected to be empathetic towards this
• The Nursery hours are likely to run based on school hours and may offer breakfast and after school club, the hours may vary at this stage

About the Role - Nursery Manager - New Cross, Lewisham

• As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for the children in our care.
• You will be required to develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
• As this is a new nursery opening, there is spoke for flexibility with this role, whether it will be class based or not
• You will work closely with other staff and parents
• The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Nursery manager previously at either a private nursery or in a school setting
• As this is a Christian ethos school nursery, the joining staff must be empathetic towards this
• The nursery will be following the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum (ACE), previous experience of this is not essential, but is beneficial
• Any joining candidate who is not familiar with the ACE curriculum, will be enrolled onto a fully funded course on this
