Overview of the Role:
Pertemps is seeking a motivated and self-driven Civil Enforcement Officer to join the expanding team at the London Borough of Harrow. This temporary role offers a competitive pay rate of up to 15.39 per hour, excellent training, career development support, and 21 days of holiday (excluding Bank Holidays).
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce parking regulations.
- Issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) by taking details and pictures of incorrectly parked vehicles.
- Provide information on local parking rules and facilities.
- Notify authorities about faults with parking meters, damaged road signs, and other relevant issues.
Requirements:
- Ability to work an allocated shift pattern based on 5 over 7 days, including evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Knowledge of legislation relating to Parking Enforcement/CCTV.
- Training in Civil Enforcement or the capability to be trained to satisfactory standards, or relevant experience.
- BTEC Level 2 or equivalent in CCTV Enforcement, or relevant experience.
- Full UK driving licence for a car and a driving record that meets the council's insurance requirements.
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
