They provide highways civil engineering term contracts for both public and private sectors and are currently working on a number of highways projects and regeneration schemes.

Your new role

As the Apprentice Highways Supervisor you will have a robust background in highways schemes. You will support operatives, supervisors, and all other stakeholders to deliver quality results.

Your day to day will consist of but not be limited to

  • Produce permits, risk assessments and method statements
  • Oversee the necessary material orders by tracking budgets intervening early.
  • Assist with supervising and managing operatives.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure project targets are on track.
  • Record daily site notes and ensuring that daily inspections of TM layouts are being adhered to.
  • Support gangs, operatives, supervisors with detailed programme works.
  • Promoting health and safety and driving high standards.

About you

This is an exciting role for an experienced Apprentice Supervisor who is looking to take the next step in their Highways and Infrastructure career.

The ideal candidate will be about to tick the below

  • Some exposure to highways and infrastructure industry
  • Familiarity with RAMS and STATS
  • Strong communicator to report defects and create an action plan to resolve issues.
  • Highly organised to support and coordinate multiple contractors simultaneously.
  • CSCS card holder and SSSTS or working towards
