Mechanical Project Manager Small Works (£10k to £250k Projects)

Were working with a long-established and highly respected Mechanical & Electrical Building Services contractor based in the City of London, who are seeking an experiencedMechanical Project Managerto join their Small Works Division.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading M&E contractor delivering projects across diverse sectors including commercial, banking, office fit-out, education, healthcare, retail, and leisure, with values ranging from £10k to £5m.

Role Overview:

AsMechanical Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing mechanical small works projects typically ranging from£10k to £250k. Reporting to the Mechanical Director, your focus will be on planning, delivery, client liaison, contractor coordination, and ensuring safety, quality, and budget compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage mechanical small works projects from inception to completion
• Coordinate with engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers, and clients
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Carry out regular site visits, ensuring H&S compliance
• Handle procurement of materials and equipment
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation

Mechanical Project Manager - Desirable experience, skills and qualifications:

• Proven experience as aMechanical Project Manager,Contracts Manager, orMEP Project Manager,or similar role
• Able to manage multiple small projects concurrently, up to£250k
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• CSCS and SMSTS certifications preferred
