Role Overview:

We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Highways Engineer with demonstrable consultancy experience, particularly in S278 projects. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing detailed designs, conducting feasibility studies, and managing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed designs, feasibility studies, and scheme reports for a variety of projects.
• Ensure that designs comply with specifications, health and safety regulations, and CDM requirements.
• Assess environmental impacts and work with colleagues to ensure compliance.
• Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and third parties.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Provide support and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in civil engineering consultancy, particularly focused on highways and infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of S278 processes and standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to project management.
