is looking to welcome you, a Highways Design Team Leader, to join their expert team in Richmond, London.

The work that you will do will help provide tailored support to local authorities, including Transport for London, and enact a real, sustainable impact on communities in London and the home counties.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Highways Engineer or Highways Engineer, you will take project ownership for technical deliverables produced by yourself and your engineering sub-team. Your role will involve:

  • Undertake CDM and Principal Designer duties for highways & active travel deliverables on behalf of Local Authority clients, including TfL.
  • Briefing your team on client requirements from a technical standpoint.
  • Ensuring designs are compliant with DMRB, MCHW, TSGRD, TSM and TfL Street Toolkit.
  • Mentoring and upskilling your team when required to get the best from them.
  • Supporting bids for tenders
  • Project management of projects allocated to you.

Requirements:
The following outlines an ideal candidate for the role, but please do not hesitate to apply if you are interested but do not meet all requirements.

  • Working knowledge of DMRB, MCHW, TSGRD, TSM and TfL Street Toolkit.
  • Highways preliminary to detailed design experience
  • Previous experience in proposing and assessing highways investigations.
  • Working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Proven CAD skills.
