Our client, a well-established consultancy in the rail sector, is seeking a Senior Structural/Civil Engineer in London. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to delivering innovative engineering solutions within the rail industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and direction to the project team
- Manage projects and be responsible for project outcomes
- Contribute to identifying and pursuing opportunities to win work and grow relationships with clients and partners
- Fulfill the CRE (Civil and Structures) role in rail schemes
- Independently develop and integrate winning temporary and permanent works design schemes and construction methodologies
- Play a key role in the growth of the team, focusing on expanding capabilities
Job Requirements:
- Chartered Engineer
- Significant experience in civils, heavy civils, structural, or bridge design
- Proven experience in coordinating and managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience in the rail industry as CRE (Civil and Structures) is advantageous
- Ability to mentor and support a group of enthusiastic designers and engineers
- Proficiency with computational software
