Position: Structural Design Engineer
Location: West London (Zone 2)

Our client is a structural engineering consultancy delivering projects using a level of automation rarely seen in their sector. The firm views itself as a technology company that will steadily increase its market share.
Your Role: Their current workload is focused on residential projects, which are ideally suited to high levels of automation. Your role will be to help design and manage projects throughout the London region, and to provide technical input as they adopt new technologies and refine delivery methods. You will work closely with the managing director, structural engineers, and CAD technicians. There will be regular contact with clients and occasional site visits. Projects will typically be designed using reinforced concrete, masonry and steel.
About You: A degree qualified or chartered structural engineer with at least four years building structures design experience with exposure to most of the commonly used structural materials. An interest in using engineering design software is essential, you should be versed in using industry standard design packages. The practice currently licences Grasshopper, Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, REVIT and IDEA SatiCa. If you are working towards chartership, training and mentorship is provided to achieve MIStructE or ICE membership.
