Goodman Masson Recruitment are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asbestos Consultant to join a leading housing association in London. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community by managing asbestos-related issues. The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting stock condition surveys over a three-month period.

Pay: £350 - £400 a day INSIDE IR35

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of properties for asbestos
  • Develop and implement effective management plans for asbestos removal and control.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on asbestos management and remediation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all inspections and actions taken.
  • Collaborate with other council departments and external contractors as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Asbestos Specialist or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of asbestos regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent surveying and assessment skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective management plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications in asbestos management - P402, P404, P405
