Salary 30k+ depending on experience
Asbestos Surveyor required to join a multi-disciplined environmental, materials and scientific consultancy based in Northwest London, NW10.
You will be required to undertake a full range of asbestos surveys on a variety of properties, including railway infrastructure, commercial properties and the industrial sector.
The role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced asbestos professional to support a growing business, and the potential for cross training both within the asbestos industry and the wider occupational hygiene sector.
Responsibilities:
Undertake Management Survey and Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys in accordance with HSG 264 & ISO17020.
Support Consultants in preparing technical reports and data entry, by recording the results from the field work undertaken.
Person:
BOHS P402 Certificate or equivalent.
Good communication skills.
IT literate.
Full clean UK driving licence essential.
Fit to carry out on-site testing (equipment may need to be carried).
Experience or knowledge of UKAS standards will be an advantage.
Existing competencies in the construction / rail industry e.g. (CSCS & PTS) desirable but full training offered.
This position will suit a practical, well organised individual with recent experience as an asbestos surveyor. Additional in-house and external training will be provided to support you in the role.
There will be a requirement for some night and weekend work.
