Your new role:

Your main responsibilities will be to lead, plan, and deliver expert professional services within the Asset Management sector. You will also support the development, management, and delivery of council services as well as manage staff responsible for service delivery and support within the department. Additionally, you will ensure the Council maximises service outcomes in a cost-effective manner.

What you will need to succeed:

Proven experience managing a diverse portfolio within an asset management function of a similar size.Extensive knowledge of the property lifecycle, strategic asset management, financial analysis, and risk management.Skilled at developing strategies, policies, and procedures that align with service and corporate priorities.In-depth understanding of landlord and tenant legislation, property management principles, rent reviews, lease renewals, and leasehold obligations.Familiarity with local authority reporting and approval processes is advantageous.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and managing key stakeholders effectively.Capable of working independently to achieve organisational objectives.Membership in a relevant professional body or association (e.g., Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is advantageous.
