?? Key Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed inspections and surveys of council-owned properties, identifying necessary repairs, maintenance, and improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and cost estimates for works required.
- Manage and oversee construction and maintenance projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, health and safety legislation, and council policies.
- Provide expert advice on building-related issues to internal departments, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor contractor performance and quality, ensuring work is carried out to agreed specifications and standards.

- Qualified Professional: Degree in building surveying or a related field and relevant professional membership (e.g., RICS or CIOB).
