Description
- Support Clients with Mobility Needs - Assist clients who require additional mobility support, ensuring their living environments are tailored to enhance their independence.
- Property Adaptation Schemes - Undertake and manage adaptation projects to improve the use of the client's property, ensuring it meets their specific requirements.
- Client Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and their families, offering guidance and support throughout the process.
- Client Representation - Act as the client's representative during projects, ensuring their needs and interests are prioritized and well communicated.
- Consultancy Role - Primarily provide expert consultancy services with occasional involvement in project management as needed.
- Work on Site Visits - Spend significant time conducting site visits to assess and monitor the progress of ongoing adaptation projects.
Profile
The successful candidate will ideally hold a professional construction-related membership (such as RICS or CIOB) and have experience in adapting residential properties for wheelchair users, as well as expertise in building surveying, construction, or project management. They will possess a construction-related qualification or degree, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate empathy and compassion, as the role requires guiding clients through challenging personal circumstances with care and support.
