About:
A large, international consulting firm is looking for a Civil Design Engineer to join their Mission Critical team.
Their Mission Critical team specialises in the design of civil infrastructure for UK and international data centre projects, power stations, and film studios.
Your new role as a Civil Design Engineer will involve the design and coordination of utilities, highways, drainage, earthworks, and levels.
What does the role involve?
You'll work proactively on a critical, specialist range of projects from inception through to completion, each with their own unique challenges to overcome. Their projects include film studios, renewable energy schemes, power stations and data centres.
You will be responsible for the design of Civil Infrastructure, including:
- Preparing design calculations, specifications, drawings and technical information, using Infodrainage, Civil 3D, and Navisworks.
- You'll undertake site surveys.
- Write technical reports.
- Carry out contract management on delegated schemes.
- Liaise with clients, statutory authorities, contractors and the wider design team.
The role will enable you to gain a wide range of experience, which will stretch your skills and boost your portfolio.
