You'll be working for a heritage charity, located in the South East providing professional building surveying. The successful candidate will be involved in the completion of all projects, achieving value for money, the highest quality delivery of projects and adherence to recognised quality and safety standards in accordance with design information and drawings.Your new role

  • Inspect repairs, refurbishments, and construction works to ensure they meet standards and health and safety requirements. Survey, specify, tender, and monitor routine repairs and maintenance work.
  • Raise orders for minor works, monitor progress, and approve invoices upon completion.
  • Prepare specifications, oversee maintenance contracts, and ensure compliance with HMO regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues, construction professionals, contractors, and tenants.
  • Produce regular reports and maintain comprehensive digital records of work and inspections.
  • Certify payments to contractors, raise purchase orders, approve invoices, and assist with insurance claims.
  • Contribute to sustainability goals, comply with health and safety policies, and perform other duties as required.

What you'll need to succeedA good understanding and background of the building industry along with a HNC /HND qualification or equivalent.
