Fire Door Assessor & EstimatorLondonMonday - Friday, 8am-5pm, Office& Site Based£44k-£52k Per Annum - Experience Dependent

Our client is looking for an experienced surveyor to inspect fire doors and compartmentation within residential & commercial properties. You will be predominantly site based within their Central London office, covering multiple addresses within the working day across London

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Identifying points for correction on fire door and compartmentation
  • Writing advisory actions for joiners to fire stoppers to carry out
  • Managing appointments alongside your team of project coordinators
  • Providing technical advice for the project delivery team
  • Post work inspections and sign offs
  • Assisting your operations manager where needed
  • Procurement of materials and equipment to carry out works.
  • Completion of work sheets and quotes via our mobile app

Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • Good technical knowledge of fire doors and compartmentation/fire stopping
  • Experience working within a team
  • The ability to liaise and report to clients and tenants where required
  • Experience surveying both fire doors and fire stopping
  • NVQ or equivalent in carpentry or FDIS or equivalent in fire doors
  • Good diary & organisation skills
  • 5 years experience minimum within the fire door industry
  • Being thorough and process driven
  • A hardworking and reliable work ethic
  • Previous experience in maintenance and building environments, ideally within commercial or residential sectors.
  • Previous use of handheld technology / smartphone and
  • A HSE understanding
  • A good communicator, who understands the importance of customer service
  • FDIS Qualifications (favoured)
