Join a leading Fire and Health & Safety consultancy as a Fire Risk Assessor, working as part of a growing team of eight.

This role offers the successful Fire Risk Assessor the opportunity to work across a diverse range of sectors, including new build and existing residential properties, complex high-rise developments, student accommodation, and commercial buildings.



The Fire Risk Assessor's Role

  • Carry out planned and reactive Fire Risk Assessments across various medium-risk environments, using appropriate evaluation methods to assess fire hazards.
  • Prepare and present detailed Fire Risk Assessment reports, ensuring they meet legal requirements and provide clear recommendations.
  • Deliver expert fire safety advice to clients, maintaining a strong knowledge of UK Fire Safety Legislation, associated guidance, and standards.
  • Liaise with contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders, offering bespoke fire safety support when required.


The Successful Fire Risk Assessor Will Have

  • Full UK driving licence, with access to a vehicle (company-provided option available).
  • Willingness to travel extensively, with overnight stays as required.
  • Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and technical standards.
  • Nationally recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualifications (minimum certificate level).
  • Self-motivated and confident in managing client interactions and workload independently.
