Join a leading Fire and Health & Safety consultancy as a Fire Risk Assessor, working as part of a growing team of eight.
This role offers the successful Fire Risk Assessor the opportunity to work across a diverse range of sectors, including new build and existing residential properties, complex high-rise developments, student accommodation, and commercial buildings.
The Fire Risk Assessor's Role
- Carry out planned and reactive Fire Risk Assessments across various medium-risk environments, using appropriate evaluation methods to assess fire hazards.
- Prepare and present detailed Fire Risk Assessment reports, ensuring they meet legal requirements and provide clear recommendations.
- Deliver expert fire safety advice to clients, maintaining a strong knowledge of UK Fire Safety Legislation, associated guidance, and standards.
- Liaise with contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders, offering bespoke fire safety support when required.
The Successful Fire Risk Assessor Will Have
- Full UK driving licence, with access to a vehicle (company-provided option available).
- Willingness to travel extensively, with overnight stays as required.
- Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and technical standards.
- Nationally recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualifications (minimum certificate level).
- Self-motivated and confident in managing client interactions and workload independently.
