The Fire Risk Assessor's role

As a Fire Risk Assessor, you'll be responsible for conducting thorough fire risk assessments, producing detailed reports, and providing fire safety training sessions.

You'll work closely with clients to offer practical and regulatory advice, ensuring full compliance with current fire safety legislation.



Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out fire safety risk assessments in line with current regulations
  • Provide clear, actionable recommendations for remedial actions
  • Produce detailed fire safety reports tailored to client needs
  • Schedule assessments, liaise with clients, and discuss findings
  • Deliver fire safety advice and training sessions to client teams
  • Stay up to date with fire safety legislation and industry best practices
  • Attend client meetings and provide ongoing fire safety support


The Ideal Candidate

  • Relevant Fire Risk qualfiications
  • Proven experience conducting fire risk assessments
  • Familiarity with fire safety tools like Riskbase
  • Strong understanding of current fire safety legislation and standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive approach and dedication to achieving objectives
  • A full driving licence for travel to client sites
