This role offers the successful Graduate Fire Engineer the opportunity to work across a diverse range of sectors, including new build and existing residential properties, complex high-rise developments, student accommodation, and commercial buildings.



The Graduate Fire Engineer's Role

  • Assist in carrying out planned and reactive fire safety assessments, using appropriate evaluation methods to assess fire risks.
  • Support the preparation of detailed fire safety reports, ensuring compliance with UK fire safety legislation and industry standards.
  • Provide technical fire safety advice to clients, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of fire regulations, guidance, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders, offering fire engineering support as required.
  • Participate in training and development programmes to enhance fire engineering expertise.


The Successful Graduate Fire Engineer Will Have

  • A degree in Fire Engineering, Fire Safety, or a related discipline.
  • IFE membership is desireable.
  • Willingness to travel, with overnight stays as required.
  • Strong understanding of UK fire safety regulations and technical standards.
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
