Are you passionate about sustainability and energy efficiency? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Retrofit Assessor to join a forward-thinking and dynamic team based in Central London. In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving sustainable change, contributing to the success of retrofit projects across residential and commercial properties.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Property Assessments: Carrying out thorough property surveys to evaluate existing building performance, identifying opportunities for energy efficiency improvements.
- Energy Efficiency Recommendations: Providing tailored advice on measures such as insulation, heating systems, renewable energy solutions, and ventilation to improve building performance and reduce carbon footprints.
- Compliance and Certification: Ensuring that retrofit solutions meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, including PAS 2035 and TrustMark certification.
- Client Liaison: Collaborating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver effective retrofit solutions and ensure projects run smoothly.
- Report Preparation: Producing clear, concise, and comprehensive reports outlining assessments, recommended improvements, and project costs.
Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for a candidate who has:
- Relevant Qualifications: A Retrofit Assessor qualification (e.g., Level 3 or equivalent) and familiarity with PAS 2035.
- Experience: Previous experience in a retrofit role, conducting property assessments, and delivering energy efficiency solutions.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of building fabric, energy systems, and renewable technologies.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, offering clear and practical advice.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to assessing properties and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Passion for Sustainability: A genuine commitment to sustainability and improving energy performance in the built environment.
