Senior Building Surveyor- Project management

Are you interested in working for a UK property investment and management platform? Are you a qualified Building surveyor who wishes to also be more involved in the project management side?

With the large amount of work in the south of England, you'll play a key role in managing high-value refurbishment and development projects across a diverse portfolio. The opportunity will be there to build a team around you too as the operations continue to grow.

General working day

路Oversee the preparation of design and contract documentation, tendering, contract administration, and financial control路 Provide comprehensive project management, from scope and budgeting through to handover

路 Lead the planning and delivery of major refurbishment projects, ensuring cost-effective and timely completion路 Offer strategic building advice on tenant alterations, repairs, and dilapidations claims路 Conduct pre-acquisition due diligence and advise on refurbishment costs to feed into business plans路 Work closely with external consultants, Facilities Managers, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution

Non negotiables:

路 MRICS qualification (or equivalent) with a solid knowledge of property and project management

路 Proven experience in building surveying within commercial property management路 A strong leader who is comfortable directing external consultants and collaborating across teams

路 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on achieving results
