A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Building Surveyor to join a dynamic team based in Central London, offering the flexibility of hybrid working. This is your chance to work on a range of diverse and engaging projects, including those in Residential, Education, Blue Light, Fire Remedial Works, and Capital Improvement sectors.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing projects and leading teams. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Leadership: Leading and managing projects and project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Surveying Expertise: Conducting measured surveys of existing buildings or sites, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Inspection Excellence: Carrying out site inspections and providing detailed inspection reports.
  • Design & Build Proficiency: Preparing Employer's Requirements for Design and Build purposes.
  • Tendering Process: Managing tender invitations, conducting tender analysis, and preparing detailed reports.
  • Full Project Lifecycle: Overseeing projects from start to finish, including specifications, schedules of work, and other essential documentation.

Ideal Candidate:

  • RICS-accredited Building Surveying degree
  • Chartered status or actively working towards APC
  • Proven experience in successfully managing interdisciplinary projects and leading project teams
  • Background in housing, residential, and/or existing buildings
  • Expertise in core building surveying and project management
  • A successful track record in managing programs of work, highlighting your organisational ability
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to providing excellent client care
