Role and Responsibilities:
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing projects and leading teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Leadership: Leading and managing projects and project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
- Surveying Expertise: Conducting measured surveys of existing buildings or sites, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Inspection Excellence: Carrying out site inspections and providing detailed inspection reports.
- Design & Build Proficiency: Preparing Employer's Requirements for Design and Build purposes.
- Tendering Process: Managing tender invitations, conducting tender analysis, and preparing detailed reports.
- Full Project Lifecycle: Overseeing projects from start to finish, including specifications, schedules of work, and other essential documentation.
Ideal Candidate:
- RICS-accredited Building Surveying degree
- Chartered status or actively working towards APC
- Proven experience in successfully managing interdisciplinary projects and leading project teams
- Background in housing, residential, and/or existing buildings
- Expertise in core building surveying and project management
- A successful track record in managing programs of work, highlighting your organisational ability
- Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to providing excellent client care
