The Senior Fire Engineer Role
As a Senior Fire Engineer, you will report directly to the Head of Fire Engineering. You will be responsible for self-managing projects, liaising directly with clients, and coordinating with other stakeholders to ensure client expectations are met efficiently and effectively. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including developing fire strategies, compartmentation, and escape planning.
You will be working within sectors such as Educational, Commercial, Hi-Rise, and Residential, maintaining compliance with all fire regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive fire strategies
- Plan compartmentation and escape routes
- Manage projects independently and liaise directly with clients
- Lead client-facing meetings with confidence
- Stay updated with fire regulations and compliance standards
- Engage in business development activities
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Fire Engineer
- Degree in Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience with FREAW'S (Fire Risk Evaluations and Assessments for Workplaces)
- Proven track record in the Residential and Commercial sectors
- Strong business development skills
- Ability to lead and manage client relationships effectively
