One of the largest housing associations is looking for a dedicated Stock Condition Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers, ensuring high-quality programmes that align with business objectives and meet customer expectations, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

Day to Day of the role:•    Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and external agencies.•    Support the delivery of planned, cyclical, and maintenance programmes in line with the Asset Management Strategy.•    Engage proactively with residents to determine programme priorities and service needs.•    Contribute to developing customer expectations and stakeholder involvement in project programmes.•    Analyse customer feedback and performance data to inform programme delivery.•    Address any underperformance or service failures to meet programme targets and operational KPIs.•    Liaise with external organisations as required.•    Manage health & safety issues relevant to the role, including compliance with CDM regulations and site safety.•    Conduct stock condition surveys, HHSRS surveys, Fire Risk Assessments, and DDA audits.•    Provide solutions to property issues and inform future work programmes.•    Update the Asset Management database with survey data and generate necessary reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:•    Experience in conducting stock condition surveys for occupied and void properties and communal areas.•    Proficiency in carrying out decent homes assessments and HHSRS assessments.•    HND/HNC in Building or equivalent qualification.•    Experience in conducting DDA audits and fire risk assessments in communal residential areas.•    BOHS P402 certification is desirable but not essential.•    Understanding of health and safety risks associated with Stock Condition Survey work.•    Relevant technical or professional qualification is desirable.•    Commitment to continuous professional development.•    Strong numeracy, IT, team working, and communication skills.
