Senior Client Development Manager - Litigation

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Business Development professional with a passion for client development and harnessing key client relationships, to join a prestigious US law firm as a Senior Client Development Manager to spearhead their litigation practice in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business development plans and brand strategies to enhance the visibility and growth of the litigation practice.
  • Client Relationships: Build and sustain trusted relationships with practice chairs and key stakeholders, providing strategic marketing and business development advice.
  • Market Positioning: Drive effective strategies for UK awards and directories to reflect the group's global capabilities and successes.
  • Innovative Marketing: Bring new ideas for marketing and proven approaches to elevate the firm's brand.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct research to drive strategic change and identify new business opportunities.
  • Pitch Strategies: Develop client-facing pitch strategies, provide necessary research, and collaborate on larger proposals and RFPs.
  • Event Management: Plan and host practice-related events, ensuring successful execution and positive ROI.
  • Marketing Collateral: Create compelling marketing materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with the firm's strategic priorities.
  • Campaign Management: Develop and manage integrated marketing and business development campaigns that deliver results.
  • Mentorship: Provide mentorship to business professionals and contribute to global initiatives to improve the overall marketing function.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Previous BD/Client Development experience gained within a law firm or professional services environment is essential for this role
  • Experience of building strong working relationships across all levels
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and advise partners.
  • Strong commercial sense and understanding of client needs and expectations.
