The home operates in close partnership with Southwark Council and local hospital trusts in London. This care home is unique as it has a council employed multi-disciplinary team on site in the home (Social Workers and OTs), with whom you as a Clinical Deputy Manager would partner with to support reablement and discharge to assess services.

What is required from you?
A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
A valid, in date NMC pin without restrictions to practice
QCF level 3 diploma or above in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Good knowledge of the CQC key lines of enquiry and other regulatory frameworks
Full time role working 42 hours per week
A day in the life of a Deputy Manager
As Deputy Manager you will be responsible for leading the care team to ensure that the care delivered to our resident is safe, supportive and person-centred. You will ensure that these needs are regularly reviewed to ensure they meet their current requirements, and ensure the general standards of hygiene and cleanliness and equipment are maintained for their safety and wellbeing. You will support to the Registered Manager in the day to day running of the home, assuming full capacity in their absence.
