Cloakroom Assistant

Premier Work Support are delighted to recruit for Cloakroom attendants for a prestigious exhibition centre based in London. This Position is long term for the right candidate, working on an ad-hoc basis, in line with their busy peaks.

As a cloakroom attendant you will Provide a warm welcome and excellent "customer service experience" to visitors who attend the venue.

You will be responsible for receiving and storing personal items from visitors to the venue in a respectful, professional manner along with other associated duties as directed by management.

Responsibilities

1. General Cleaning Tasks/Customer Service

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, assisting them with checking in and retrieving their belongings.
• Manage the checking-in and checking-out process of coats, bags, and other personal belongings, always ensuring accuracy and security.
• Maintain the cloakroom area in a clean, organized, and presentable manner, adhering to company standards and procedures.
• Monitor the cloakroom area to prevent theft or mishandling of guests' belongings, promptly reporting any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities.
• Effectively communicate with guests to provide information regarding the cloakroom services, including pricing and operating hours.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless operation of the cloakroom area and provide support as needed during peak times.

• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, striving to resolve issues promptly & efficiently to the guest's satisfaction.
• On occasion, collect fees for cloakroom services, accurately recording transactions and maintaining a secure cash handling process.
• Monitor and replenish supplies such as hangers, tags, and coat check tickets as needed to ensure smooth operation of the cloakroom.
• Strictly adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cloakroom operations, security, and guest service.

The shifts are ad - hoc and hours will vary from show to show. But shifts will most likely be 12 hours long. Starting from 7am and finishing as late at 10pm.
