Our client , a dynamic central London based brokerage are looking for a Jr. Infrastructure Support Engineer to start in November. Please note this role is five days a week in the office.
As part of the infrastructure team, the ideal candidate will assist with the day-to-day operation andmaintenance of the infrastructure systems and software, including security, backup processes and procedures,contribute to the implementaion of upgrades and new systems and provide 2nd and 3rd line support for livesystems and software.The role offers an opportunity to join one of the top leading companies in their industry at atime of company growth and expansion, with strong potential career development.
Key Responsibilities• Identify operational problems and work with other to find resolutions. Ensuring outcomes aredocumented.• Carry out agreed operational procedures, including support, installation, configuration, upgrades,backups, restores, decommissioning and maintenance.• Pro-actively monitors systems, including backups and interfaces. Investigates and resolves problems.• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL instances and associated Databases.• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud-based services and integrations.• Uses standard management and reporting tools to monitor and manage storage utilisationperformance, and backup statistics.• Assist with the implementation of changes based on requests for change. Including the preparation ofchange requests according to current procedures.• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standards, procedures and policies related to theinfrastructure, installations, backups, and disaster recovery.• Liaises with third party suppliers to enable commitments to be met on services or projects they aredelivering.• Be an active part of Project Teams as required, providing support as identified.

Key Skills• Experience with Microso3 Azure/Azure AD and Office 365 incl. End Point, ATP• Microso3 Windows server and architecture (AD, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy)• An understanding in networking incl. firewalls, routers, VLANSetcAdvantageous• Intune, Managing Images/builds and deployment.• Citrix• Linux• Microsoft Security standards and implementation.
