Lead Azure Architect

£85,000 - £90,000 + Bonus + Pension

An Award-Winning client of ours in are looking to hire a Lead Azure Architect, this role will be joining a growing team and one of the largest IT Support Services companies in the UK.

Our client is looking for an Azure specialist who can show proven experience across Azure migration projects, working with clients also on Datacentre moves and who enjoys the client facing and communication part of the role.

Other important areas include Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and ideally someone coming from a strong core infrastructure background, with Virtualisation, Windows Server & Network Security as other attractive areas.

As a Lead Azure Architect, the Hiring Manager is looking for someone who can help the company with delivery and also implementation, so it is important that you have experience creating technical designs of the highest quality for enterprise solutions using Azure Cloud technologies and then working with technical teams to provide leadership on the implementation.

Experience across Azure products and services will be needed for this role, including but not limited to areas such Azure Service Bus, Cosmos DB, and Azure DevOps.

In this Lead Azure Architect role, you will be working across multiple projects and with a range of different clients, so it is important to have a Consultative approach and be able to support different teams, with various levels of technical knowledge.

The main focus in the Lead Azure Architect position will be to architect, design and then implement the solutions with customers, while also providing recommendations and looking to continuously improve the current environment and solutions.
