Serverless Cloud Engineer - AWS, Terraform, CI/CD

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Cloud Engineer with a DevOps mindset to take the lead on designing and maintaining a fully serverless infrastructure that can scale with rapid product growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing, deploying, and managing serverless infrastructure on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions)
  • Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to ensure repeatability and security
  • Creating robust CI/CD pipelines to support fast, safe deployments (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
  • Monitoring system performance, ensuring observability, and implementing alerting (CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.)
  • Supporting development teams by maintaining clean, scalable dev/test/stage environments
  • Championing best practices in security, cost efficiency, and cloud governance across the stack

What Skills You Need

  • Solid hands-on experience with AWS serverless services - especially Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB
  • Proficiency in Terraform (or similar IaC tools) to manage infrastructure
  • Experience building and optimising CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications
  • Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus)
  • A DevOps mindset - keen to automate, optimise, and eliminate manual steps wherever possible
  • Strong understanding of security principles in a cloud environment (IAM, VPCs, secrets management, etc.)
  • Bonus: Experience in regulated environments like FinTech, and knowledge of KYC/AML pipelines or cloud cost optimisation
