My client is a leading, well established UK law firm known for providing exceptional advice to high-profile clients across sectors including media, entertainment and technology. They have a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and inclusive work environment that fosters and supports talent. They are looking for an established BD Manager to join the existing team in London, in a role that will be integral to the development and delivery of the firms BD strategy.

This is an exciting time to join this firm; they are enjoying continued growth and success, and are investing in significant change projects, which the BD team will play a key part of, so this BD Manager role offers a perfect blend of tactical delivery, strategic and creative input and project management.

Working closely in collaboration with senior stakeholders, the remit of this role includes:

  • Leading on the development and delivery of practice group strategic marketing & BD plans
  • Opportunity spotting, identifying client and market trends, using data to provide insights and reports
  • Identifying and developing key client and intermediary relationships, developing key client plans and collaborating with stakeholder to ensure effective execution of activities and measure success
  • Lead on the development and end to end delivery of impactful key client events
  • Project management of the pitch process, ensuring a bespoke, work winning approach
  • Creating engaging marketing collateral and client communications, tracking engagement and ROI
  • In collaboration with the Marcoms Manager, support comms and PR profile raising initiatives for the firm and practice group
  • Support on digital projects

The successful candidate for this fantastic BD Manager role will possess:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Marketing/Business Development role, within a legal or professional services environment
  • Experience of both strategic planning and tactical delivery of BD and marketing initiatives
  • Ability to lead and influence discussions with senior stakeholders
  • Experience of people management
  • Strong relationship building skills and experience
  • Strong commercial acumen
