Based in the firm's London office, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join the friendly marketing team of a leading international law firm.

You will be joining a firm who collaborate as one, across borders, practice areas and business functions and value fresh ideas and innovation over conformity and competition. You will be expected to build and retain strong and direct relationships with all the firm’s attorneys in order to deliver effective initiatives and will need to develop supportive relationships with global colleagues and ensure that business development and marketing support is collaboratively provided. The successful applicant will enjoy a broad role working across the business development and marketing remit. Championing best practice approaches, you will support the London team in the delivery of a range of campaigns and BD plans to raise the firm’s profile as well as independently owning and driving BD and Marketing projects. Tracking results and preparing responsive data-led reports and analyses, incorporating recommendations for increasing effectiveness, the role holder will collaborate closely with Business Development Managers, providing substantive "right hand" assistance in the execution of business development activities. You will also prepare and project manage pitches, RFPs, capability statements and presentations including communicating with attorneys and undertaking client research. On the marketing side the Business Development Executive will be responsible for producing, collating, updating and storing a library of documents. including practice group descriptions, attorney biographies and website content.

The ideal candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent with proven relevant experience in professional services marketing, ideally gained in a law firm. It is essential that applicants for the role of Business Development Executive possess a talent for creating client satisfaction and demonstrated ability to focus on the client value in all work. A confident and positive self-starter, with excellent organisation and writing skills and high attention to detail, you must enjoy working in a fast-paced, matrixed organisation.
