Commercial Manager - Business Finance - Product / Proposition / Marketing
Remote working with regular trips to London
£50,000 to £65,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits package
Our client is the largest trade association for the commercial finance broker community, representing the interests of members and lenders with a focus on property finance, asset finance, invoice finance and business loans.
Reporting to the Head of Membership, the role is designed strengthen relationships with Members, Patrons and Partners while identifying and capitalising on growth opportunities and contributing to the strategic growth of the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing strategies to attract new Members, Patrons and Partners.
- Identifying and pursuing new commercial opportunities in line with the Association's strategic goals.
- Representing the Association at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase sponsorship revenue for events and other initiatives.
- Fee and pricing strategy responsibilities.
- Collaborating with the Events and Marketing and Communications teams to create compelling sponsorship packages that align with stakeholder interests and objectives.
- Working with the Events department to select and attend conferences, seminars and networking events that result in opportunities for growth.
Skills and experience:
- A proven background in product / proposition / marketing to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.
- Strong stakeholder development skills with the interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships.
- Demonstrable understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies and income optimisation.
- Likely to have a background and / or qualification in marketing.
- Decent project management, data analysis and presentation skills.
- Creative and driven with a lively and likeable personality and disposition.
- Some experience in a lending environment would be advantageous - asset finance, property finance, invoice finance or business loans.
