CRO Manager

Location: Covent Garden, London (Hybrid - 3 days in the office, including Fridays)Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

About the Role:We are working with a boutique performance marketing agency known for delivering award-winning results for leading brands in entertainment, publishing, e-commerce, B2B, and travel. The agency operates as a hybrid between consultancy and in-house marketing, often working alongside clients as an extension of their teams. As a CRO Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading end-to-end experimentation programs, identifying opportunities for optimisation, and delivering commercial value through data-driven insights and testing. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients directly, shaping strategies and managing the full testing cycle to drive measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full end-to-end experimentation process, from ideation to implementation and analysis.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify optimisation opportunities and draw actionable insights.
  • Design and prioritise tests with a focus on commercial impact (e.g., revenue, subscriptions, pricing efficiencies).
  • Work with testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, Piano) to set up and execute tests, ensuring effective triggers and configurations.
  • Partner with internal teams, including developers for technical implementations, while maintaining an understanding of the technical aspects of test setups.
  • Build compelling narratives based on data to present insights and results to stakeholders.

Looking For:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in CRO, including full ownership of experimentation cycles.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms, with a technical mindset and the ability to work with large datasets.
  • Testing Expertise: Practical knowledge of tools such as Optimizely, VWO, and Piano, with a proven track record of driving testing programs that impact commercial KPIs.
  • Analytical Skills: Confidence in conducting quantitative analysis, drawing actionable insights, and presenting findings to stakeholders in a clear, persuasive manner.

What Sets This Role Apart:

  • Opportunity to work on high-profile clients, including fast-growing global brands.
  • Exposure to a non-hierarchical, collaborative team environment where innovation and versatility are encouraged.
  • A chance to explore other areas of digital marketing and analytics through cross-team collaboration.
