£80-90k + great OTE

Our client are at an exciting stage of their growth, with market leading events, digital content, they are now looking to harness the power of cutting edge data platforms to give clients greater insights into the finance sector, your team will have the opportunity  to capitalise on this new impetus, earn market leading commission, and really deliver results for their clients.

The Role

Our client has a market leading conferences division, dedicated to bringing global executive audiences the very latest in knowledge, thought leadership and opinion and connect them to one another.  Most revenue is generated from sponsorship sales taken from service providers.  You will report into the COO.

Key Responsibilities Include

Manage the existing sales team, ensure all members consistently deliver on or above quota - this will entail assisting in their sales processes by way of attending meetings and or calls as well as managing their order flow and client engagement. 

Revenue – Be responsible for the delivery and accurate prediction of revenue month on month.  Work with the company to adjust and evolve products to maintain high margin.

Craft new products and secure financial commitment to them – be responsible for the crafting and creation of new products as well as securing sales commitment to them.  For example, scoping out one day events in new regions i.e.: Middle East, Asia and regions of the USA.  

Sales – Ensure that all commercial team members are hitting their targets.

Sponsor management – ensuring all contracted deliverables are met to the highest standard, finding ways of adding value to clients including sponsor workshops and focus groups and gatherings, building engagement with key accounts.   

Event production – work with delegates, sponsors and influencers to deliver and evolve event programs which continue to build on our reputation for delivering informed content and pertinent delegates which attract high-value sponsors.

Brand ambassador – nourish and build key relationships with service providers and path find new relationships into organizations we have yet to work with.

Management – contribute to the general direction of the company with strategic input.

 

Experience Required

  • Proven commercial track record of delivering and surpassing sales targets in a B2B media/event environment Experience of creating new revenue streams and increasing the value of existing ones Experience delivering revenue streams within a commercial events/media business through sponsorship sales A minimum of 10 years’ sales experience or business development at a media owner or events company Knowledge of financial services and investment sector(s). Ability to work within a dynamic and fast-moving international business
