BD & Marketing Manager - Law Firm

Morgan McKinley are working in partnership with a prestigious Law Firm client, who are looking to hire an experienced Business Development & Marketing Manager to join their team for a 12-month fixed term contract, supporting their renowned Real Estate practice groups.

Role Overview:

As the Business Development (BD) & Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and strengthening the visibility of the Real Estate practice groups. This role will involve working closely with senior partners and stakeholders, developing and executing business development strategies, managing marketing initiatives, and enhancing client relationships to support the firm's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
  • Work closely with the practice leaders to create and implement BD strategies that align with the firm's goals.
  • Develop and manage client relationships, supporting partners in identifying new opportunities and expanding existing client accounts.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor research to ensure the practice's business development efforts are competitive and impactful.
  • Assist with the preparation of pitch materials, proposals, and client presentations.
  • Marketing Strategy:
  • Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns that promote the Real Estate practice and its services.
  • Create compelling content for marketing collateral, including case studies, newsletters, and online content.
  • Manage and maintain the practice's online presence, including website content and social media profiles.
  • Organise and coordinate events such as client seminars, webinars, and networking opportunities for clients and prospects.
  • Branding & Communications:
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with the internal communications team to create thought leadership content and enhance the firm's profile in the legal market.
  • Support the creation of awards submissions and rankings for the Real Estate team.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in business development and marketing, ideally within a professional services environment (legal, real estate, or similar sectors).
  • Strong understanding of the Real Estate sector and the ability to translate this into actionable BD and marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM and marketing automation systems.
  • A proactive, strategic thinker with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Salary - £65,000 - £80,000 p/annum + benefits (depending on experience)
  • Location - London (Hybrid)
  • Contract type - 12 month FTC
