Role Overview:

As the Marketing Director at 55/Redefined, you will report to the Chief Operating Officer as a member of the leadership team with responsibility for the full mix including digital marketing, lead generation, content and brand strategy, PR and events. You will lead and develop a growing team of marketers across B2B and B2C. You will partner closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Commercial Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
    • Collaborate with the SLT to align marketing strategies with the overall business goals and objectives.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Build and grow a capable Marketing team, including managing external support agencies.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture. Provide hands-on leadership to drive the overall marketing strategy.
  • Demand Generation:
    • Plan and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns to attract and convert target customers.
    • Utilize a mix of digital marketing, content marketing, email marketing, events, and other tactics to drive leads, traffic and engagement.
  • Brand, PR and Events:
    • Enhance and maintain the company’s brand presence in the market. Develop and manage brand positioning, messaging, and identity.
    • Lead PR & communication and agency to ensure consistent and impactful messaging across various media channels and markets
    • Plan and execute event strategy to support brand and sales objectives
  • Content Marketing:
    • Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content that addresses the needs and pain points of our target audience.
    • Ensure consistency in messaging and TOV across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Digital Marketing:
    • Lead digital marketing efforts including SEO, SEM, social media, and online advertising.
    • Optimize digital channels to increase website traffic, engagement, and conversions.
    • Implement a test-and-learn approach to grow digital performance.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Set marketing and acquisition objectives aligned with the overall business strategy
    • Provide regular reports on key metrics and insights to the executive team.
    • Develop and leverage the database to support repeat business growth.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage the marketing budget to ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Track and report on budget performance.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • An accomplished professional with extensive B2B SaaS marketing experience
  • Experience in the HR tech or SaaS industry is highly desirable.
  • A truly commercial B2B marketeer with a holistic business view and track record of leveraging marketing initiatives to generate measurable business results and drive revenues
  • Previous experience of having worked in a fast paced, high growth (start-up/scale up)
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing marketing teams
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Hands-on strategic planning, performance, and analytical skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
