OVERVIEW 

We are seeking a dynamic and driven New Business Account Executive to join our clients Commercial Team. The primary focus of this role is to expand our commercial department by acquiring new business and nurturing existing client relationships. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue through organic growth and external sales strategies. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and maintain new and renewal business, driving revenue through organic and external sources.
  • Regular travel to various dealerships & clients would be expected
  • Identify commercial opportunities within our existing High Net Worth client base.
  • Collaborate with various departments and dealerships to increase referrals for commercial insurance.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure timely and accurate servicing, review, and sign off of policies, endorsements, audits, and certificates.
  • Implement effective prospecting and lead generation strategies.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance laws and company policies in all sales activities.
  • Cross-sell high net worth products to commercial clients, such as Motor & Household insurance.

  • Good analytical skills and the capacity to assess clients' insurance needs and recommend suitable products.

EXPERIENCE 

  • Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field, with a background in customer service or client management.
  • 70% motor trade and motor fleet experience and 30% commercial combined.
  • Acturis knowledge preferred but not essential
