Your new companyI have partnered with a prominent train operating company in the UK, providing long-distance passenger services connecting major cities such as London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.Your new roleYour role as a Sales Specialist means you will play a crucial role in the sales process of group travel bookings and delivering an exceptional service to new and existing stakeholders of the business.Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Management:Oversee all aspects of group travel bookings for parties of 10 or more passengers.
- Customer Interaction:Handle customer enquiries through various channels, including phone calls, web forms, and emails.
- Back-Office Operations:Efficiently manage the group sales back-office, ensuring accurate ticketing, seat reservations, and financial transactions.
- Client Administration:Coordinate internal and external client administration, ensuring timely and effective production of all relevant correspondence, such as quotes and invoices.
- Upselling Opportunities:Actively promote higher-yield products to clients, including First Class and exclusive carriages.
- Collaboration:Work closely with Route teams and the Sales and Support Assistant Manager to provide an outstanding customer experience.
- VIP Coordination:Liaise with the Service Delivery Manager to ensure VIP booking details are accurately and promptly communicated.
