Senior Temporary Works Engineer

Are you Chartered or close to? Have you got experience as a temporary works engineer in the water industry and are now looking for a role where you can progress your career within a world class engineering consultancy?
We are working with a blue-chip firm who have an opportunity for a senior temporary works engineer in their London office. You will join a dynamic team of engineers and designers based in a thriving part of London. Their projects include diverse schemes in London as well as international schemes.
Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you will have a strong background in managing temporary works projects, providing expertise across a wide range of engineering tasks. Strong communication is vital as the role will see you leading projects independently and collaborating with various teams.
Main responsibilities (not limited to):
- Manage projects and oversee team
- Lead temporary works design for projects such as retaining walls, basements, mobile crane assessments, tower crane and hoist bases, propping, piling platforms and haul roads
- Review structural engineering analysis and ensure compliance with design Standards and Codes
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external teams
- Experience of working on Network Rail sites would be an advantage
The role requires candidates who have at least 4 years relevant experience, who are either Chartered or working towards Chartership.
You will be proficient with software such at SCIA, Tekla and Idea StatiCa.
