Wonderful opportunity for an Associate PR Director to head up the sports division of a PR agency with an excellent reputation. This role will be responsible for contributing to the continued growth of the sports division and overseeing publicity campaigns for some amazing sports brands, teams and talent.

Duties

  • Active role in growing the sports division's client base
  • Manage and steer a variety of campaigns across events, brands and talent within sport
  • Close liaison with key contacts, building and maintaining good relationships
  • Take ownership of identifying, pursuing and converting new business opportunities for the department
  • Line manage and develop other members of the team, and manage the resource across all Sports clients

The candidate

  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing PR and comms within sport
  • Confident to work with established sports brands and talent
  • Excellent media contacts across national, lifestyle press as well as core sports media outlets
